Resumen/Summary
Elizabeth Suescún Monsalve holds the position of full professor in the Product and Experience Design Area at the School of Applied Sciences and Engineering at EAFIT University.
Her current research interests span across various domains including Software Engineering, DevOps, Automated Software Engineering, Agile Software Development, Human-Computer Interaction, and UX-UI.
Currently, she actively participates in projects related to evidence-based software engineering, endeavors dedicated to the implementation of DevOps practices within the software industry, research on cyberphysical systems and their practical applications, as well as a project focused on addressing the Gender Gap in the field of Women in Technology.
Furthermore, she possesses the qualification to supervise Ph.D. students in the Doctorate of Engineering Program at EAFIT University.

Elizabeth has extensive experience in Computer Science, with a particular focus on Software Engineering. Her work encompasses a wide range of subjects, including Requirements Engineering, Games for Education, Software Transparency, Intentional Modeling, Evidence-Based Software Engineering, DevOps, Automated Software Engineering, Agile Software Development, Human-Computer Interaction, and UX-UI.
Notably, she has a strong commitment to Empowering Women in Technology and Bridging the Gender Gap in the field.

El Semillero de Ingeniería de Software en el 2024 trabaja en proponer un modelo de sostenibilidad humana en productos de software con infraestructura tecnológica limitada, que permita aplicar prácticas sostenibles en el ciclo de vida del desarrollo de software integrando el aspecto humano (equipos de desarrollo y usuarios). Se estima que un caso de estudio se podrá aplicar a la infraestructura tecnológica y a la comunidad de la Isla Providencia Colombia.
Sistemas ciber-físicos sostenibles para el agro: el proyecto tiene como objetivo principal el desarrollo de un framework que posibilite el diseño de la arquitectura de sistemas ciber-físicos sostenibles orientados al agro colombiano.
EBSE-PROJECT: This project aims to show the value of teaching Evidence-based software engineering (EBSE) to university students. EBSE describes a process of identifying, understanding, evaluating findings the best evidence from research studies and practice-based experience. EBSE-PROJECT is essential for the students, as future practitioners, to learn how to base important software engineering decisions on the systematic and critical evaluation of the best available evidence.

Propuestas de investigación
DevOps - Build and scale high-performance technology organizations in Colombia.
With this work, same as DevOps Report we would like contribution to the understanding and application of DevOps in Colombia. For that is necessary show properly understood, "DevOps is more than just a fad or a new name for an old concept". DevOps could improve the state of the art in organizational design, software development culture, and systems architecture, DevOps is agile culture. We want to advance the DevOps community's qualitative findings with research-based insights.
Método de implementación de sistemas sostenibles para la medición de la calidad del aire indoor y outdoor aplicado al entorno urbano de Antioquia
Objetivo de este proyecto es la implementación de sistemas sostenibles para la medición de la calidad del aire en el Departamento de Antioquia y así contribuir al reconocimiento de los factores de riesgo medioambientales que afectan la salud de las personas; específicamente los relacionados con fuentes de contaminación del aire que se encuentran dentro de las viviendas y edificios (indoor). Este proyecto pretende informar acerca de las condiciones de vida de la población antioqueña mediante la predicción y vigilancia de la calidad del aire. La información producida facilitaría la realización de planes de prevención en salud relacionados con enfermedades asociadas a la calidad del aire.
